The Days of ’47 Family Fun Day once again provides an excellent opportunity to bring families together to celebrate Utah’s great heritage. We have moved to the Utah State Fairpark for even better parking and more space for our great family activities. Pack a picnic or visit the on-site food vendors. Join activities celebrating our pioneer heritage while creating a new family tradition. Attractions include:
Get a sneak peek of The Days of ’47 Rodeo by meeting our Rodeo staff and some of the animals. Learn how to rope a cow and other exciting activities, just like the cowboys and cowgirls at the big arena.
Bring your lunch or purchase food from a nearby food vendor to re-energize for the next foray with the kids.
The Mini King and Queen competition will be held from Noon until 2:00 p.m. Our Days of ’47 Royalty will interview the applicants and select the Mini King and Queen. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are welcome to compete for a chance to win the crown and ride in the Youth Parade on July 14, 2012. What better way to thrill the kids and the grandparents too!
