Enjoy children’s activities, games and attractions for hours of family fun immediately following the Youth Parade.

Following the Youth Parade, one of the largest and oldest such parades in the nation, The Days of ’47 invites children and families to celebrate at our seventh annual Youth Festival. At the end of the Parade route, Youth Parade participants and spectators will find free activities, games and attractions for hours of family fun, while learning important principles of safety, service, prevention and cultural diversity. This is an opportunity to learn while you play.
Kids will love the inflatable slides, obstacle courses, bouncers and rides, not to mention the Wild West Area where they can meet cowboys and clowns from our Rodeo. In addition, they will find craft tables, balloon art and face painting. Large and small booths sponsored by local organizations will feature games, hands-on learning activities and prizes. The Interactive Safety Area will offer life-saving information and sporting events will motivate kids to be more active. The International Culture Area will educate kids regarding customs and traditions from around the world. Diverse music will fill the air, while a food, snacks and frozen treats will be available at minimal prices.
