Western Folks, Western Fare and Western For Real!

2:00 p.m. through each Rodeo performance
Come visit five different western heritage camps surrounding EnergySolutions Arena during The Days of ’47 Komatsu Equipment Rodeo. Camps are open at 2 p.m. daily. We have camps for Pioneer, Native American, Cowboy, Mountain Man and Buffalo Soldiers Cavalry.
Participate in and watch different activities going on at each camp. Pioneer cooking, branding, Native American dancing, trick gun slinging and trick roping are just a few of the activities. There will be pony rides and wagon rides each day. An IDOS sanctioned dutch oven cook-off on Saturday, the 20th, and dutch oven demonstrations the other days. A stage with continuous music performed by groups from around the country will keep you entertained. Sourdough Slim, Hot Club of Cowtown, Haunted Windchimes, Suzy Bogguss, Brenn Hill, Saddle Strings, Red Desert Ramblers and InCahoots are just some of the performers. Click here for performance dates and times for your favorite entertainer!
This is a free event for the entire family. Come spend an hour or the whole afternoon and evening. Learn about our Utah western heritage and enjoy some great entertainment.
